Local Kaweco DIY Sport Events in August and December

Seattle’s Grapheme, a letterpress studio and retail shop in the Central District, will be one of the 22 shops around the United States to host 2 Kaweco DIY Sport events this year. 

The 2026 Kaweco Sport DIY variant is Glow, a limited edition glow-in-the dark version of the popular Sport model with silver hardware. Kaweco explains these events:

"Take on our role with the Kaweco DIY Sport and assemble your own personal fountain pen. The fountain pen will be available exclusively in stationery retail as a do it yourself product and can’t be purchased online."

Enthusiasts will have the opportunity to select their nib size and assemble the seven components of their pens for the first time themselves. Additional details about the DIY Sport fountain pens are available from Kaweco.

Grapheme will host two runs of Kaweco-sponsored events: Friday–Sunday, August 28–30, and Friday–Sunday, December 4–6. The DIY Glow Sport pens will be available for purchase during these events in person only. Learn more on their website or social media accounts and/or send them an email.
